He is survived by : his wife Susie Ann Duncan Matheny; his siblings, Garry (Shelly), Janet Cunninghan (Bruce), Betty Lingo, Elva Williams (George), Chris Von Dach, Denny (Marsha), Annie Edwards, Curt (Cathy), Randy, Rick (Margaret), Mark, Esther0 and Beverly Goodnite (Paul); his stepchildren, Debbie DeVault, James Flint and Roy Junior Flint II; and his grandchildren, Noah Flint, Angel Flint, Garry Carol, Allan Flint, Brandon Flint, Bradley Flint and Ryan Flint.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home (1701 Jefferson Blvd, Point Pleasant, WV 25550). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at the Pine Grove Cemetery.
