It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tangela Yvnette Thornton of Leon, West Virginia, who passed away on January 11, 2021, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, John, Minnie Ashworth of Hurricane, WV, Elbert and Mary Cooper of Milton, WV.. She is survived by: her parents, Paul Ashworth and Sheila Ashworth; her sister Malena Ashworth; her daughter Jennifer Thornton; her granddaughter Aubree Thornton; and her niece Brittney Ashworth of Letart, WV. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
