He was predeceased by: his parents, Addie Smith and Faye Stover Smith; his wife Anna Ruth "Peggy" Smith; his brother Paul Smith; and his grandson Nathan Peselnick.
He is survived by: his children, Jeannie Tien (Daniel) of Calabash, NC and Jeffrey L. Smith of Grove City, OH; his granddaughter Carly McCarter (Nate) of Lincoln England; and his sister Barbara Leddy (Ron) of Ashland, OH.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
