He is survived by: his wife Julie Whittington Herdman; his sons, R. D. Herdman (Nikki) of Leon and Ryan Herdman of Leon; his grandchildren, Lola Marie Herdman and Everett Wayne Herdman; his siblings, Linda Cantrell of Buffalo, Jeanie Miller of Buffalo, Kathy, Rev. Kenneth "Bob" Herdman (Carmen) of Dayton, OH, Bill Herdman (Carla) of Robertsburg, Donnie Herdman (Lisa) of Robertsburg and Tim Jeffers of Leon; his siblings-in-law, Lisa Roe (Richard) and Chuck Whittington (David Katz); his nieces, Kris Park and Michele Luyster; and also Shelby. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
