Morgan Herdman Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Morgan Herdman of Leon, West Virginia, born in Chillicothe, Ohio, who passed away on September 16, 2022, at the age of 27, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandmother Martha Gilliland; her uncle DJ Simpson; and her cousin Damon Remy. She is survived by: her parents, Charles "Chad" Gilliland (Pattie) of Wellston and Rachel Simpson of Wellston; her husband Ethan Herdman of Leon, WV; her parents-in-law, Darrell and Vickie Herdman of Leon, WV; her sister Stephanie Hill of Wellston; her grandparents, Charlie Gilliland of Wellston, Don and Barb Simpson of Wellston; her aunts and uncles, Mary Hughes (Jay) of Wellston, Pam Phillips (Greg) of Wellston, Yvonne Dubeck of Indiana, Tom Gilliland of Wellston and Russ Stewart (Valerie) of Tampa, FL; her siblings-in-law, Joseph Herdman of Leon, WV and Jazmine Herdman of Leon, WV; her nephew David Herdman of St. Albans, WV; and her pets, Midge and Lady.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Morgan's honor be made to the local animal rescue or animal shelter.
