She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Blair Bowles and Launa Bell Bowles (Sayre); her former husband Herbert M. Whittington; her husband Paul Hedrick; her brothers, Hanford Eugene Bowles, William Bowles (Red) and John Bowles; and her grandsons, Michael Whittington and Rocky Whittington.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Durst (Sheldon) of Leon, Herbert Whittington Jr. of Buffalo, Roger Whittington (Debbie) of Leon and David Whittington (Bev) of Leon; and her sisters, Mona Rollins of Columbus, OH and Judy Bonecutter of Leon. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rest Memory Gardens Chapel Red House.
