He is survived by: his parents, George Henry of Leon and Virginia Maxine Keefer (Fife) of Leon; his wife Brenda Lee Keefer (Thompson); his daughters, Nicole Renae Keefer, Grant Matheny of Morgantown and Chelsea Rae Bowers (David) of Point Pleasant; his brother Junior Keefer (Sandy) of Leon; his parent-in-law Violet Mae Thompson (Hill) of Leon; and also James Everett Thompson of Leon. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
