It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryl Lynn Matheny of Leon, West Virginia, born in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, who passed away on March 23, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul William Hudson and Frances Marie Hudson (VanSickle); and her siblings, Nina J. Bowles (Manford) and Paul D. Hudson. She is survived by: her husband Gary Lee Matheny of Leon; her children, Rachel Clonch (Shane) of Gallipolis, OH and Jared Matheny of Leon; her granddaughters, Kaydence M. Clonch and Brooklin K. Clonch of Gallipolis; her siblings, Ramona Cerquettine of California and Roger Hudson of California; her sister-in-law Nellie Hudson of Southside; and her pet Gunner. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
