She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard F. Brown and Mary Weaver Brown; and her brother Franklin R. Brown. She is survived by: her husband Ronald R. Dowell; her children, Howard Lee Dowell of Point Pleasant and Shannon Long (Christopher) of Grove City, Ohio; and her sisters, Lois Ciesielski of Middleport and Sandra F. Halfhill (Lawrence) of Rutland, Ohio. She is also survived by four grandchildren, and extended family.
