He is survived by: his father Gary Painter of Bancroft; his wife Cecelia Painter of Leon; his children, Arnie James Painter (Taylor) of Nitro, Gary Colter Painter of Leon and Benjamin Lawson Tackett (Savannah) of Conway, SC; his siblings, Grindl Hawley (Chip) of Poca and Bennett Painter of Liberty; and his grandchildren, Landon, Luke, Gavin, Charlotte, Jace, Griffin and Lincoln. He is also survived by many other extended family and friends.
