It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Stroud of Lenore, West Virginia, who passed away on February 23, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Michael has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, June Stroud and Ozzie Stroud; his brother Keith D. Stroud; his son-in-law Randy Vanover; his father-in-law Ronald Carlson; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Debra (Bruman); and his daughter Sabrina Vanover (Stroud).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fellowship Baptist Church (2743 WV-65, Williamson, WV 25661). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
