He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Holstein Skeens of Leewood; his children, Carla Stalnaker (Jason) of South Charleston, Donna Maggard (Sam) of Pikeville, KY, Steven Roy Skeens (Brenda Sue) of Belle, David Skeens (Trish) of Cabin Creek, Jack Skeens (Tammy) of Twin Poplars and Jim Skeens (Lynn) of Sylvester; his stepchildren, Mark Clay of South Charleston, Josh Jones of Prenter, Anthony Jones of Gauley Bridge, Pam Jones of Marmet and Angie Darby of Joe's Creek; his siblings, Clifford Skeens of Seng Creek, Lee Skeens of Seng Creek, William Skeens of Beckley, Becky Peters of Foster and Della Williams of Seng Creek; and his grandchildren, Amanda, Steven, Cody, Michael, Luke, Erica, Jace, Angel Skeens, Nehemiah Stalnaker, Kiara, Demetrius, Malachi, Obadiah Saunders, Shannon Collins, Michelle Igo, Tennille Cooper and John David Maggard.
