Pansy Ramey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pansy Ramey of Lavalette, West Virginia, born in East Lynn, West Virginia, who passed away on December 17, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Golden Ramey and Leona Napier Ramey; her husband John R. Salmons; her daughter Leona Lynn; and her siblings, Raymond Ramey, J. P. Ramey, Andrew Hoover Ramey, Georgia Opal Ramey, Ruby Hickey, Phyllis Napier and Gladys Robertson.
She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Piper (Wendell); her cousin Kay Smith; her grandchildren, Wendell Piper II (Teresa), Pamela Johnson (Terry) and Tammy Williams (Tony); her great grandchildren, Trevor, Tara Johnson, Tyler, Tabatha Piper, Trey and Reagan Fisher; her siblings, Golden Ramey Jr. (Tennie), Ethel Burks, Martha Long (Terry) and Shirley Robertson (Steve); and her friend Jewell Hall. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Due to COVID-19 private services will be held for the family at Morris Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Community Memorial Gardens, Wayne.
