It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lyle D Powers (Lavalette, West Virginia), who passed away on February 10, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Burgin Powers and Thelma Powers; his wife Barbara Powers; and his brothers, Larry, Ray, Earl and Leon Powers.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Powers (Christine) of Huntington, Sara Stapleton (Doug) of Huntington and April Adkins (Mark) of Williamstown, WV; his grandchildren, Samantha, Stapleton (Troy Wallace), Elizabeth "Ellie" Hammond (Brad), Kyle Powers, Mason and Sophia Adkins; his great grandchild Zelda Hammond; his pet Lou Lou; his sister-in-law Ruth Powers; and his brother Paul Powers.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lavalette United Methodist Church or Hospice of Huntington.
