He was predeceased by: his parents, George Watts and Virginia Robertson Watts; his former wife Roberta Watts; his son Dale Watts; and his brothers, Rev. Ernest Watts, Rev. Gallie Watts and Arnold Watts.
He is survived by: his wife Clora Napier Watts; his children, Brenda King (William) of Elkview, W. Va, Judy Holbrook (Patrick) of Grayson, Patricia Benedict (Jeff) of Grafton, Danny Watts (Loretta) of Greenville, S. C., Thomas Watts (Sheila) of Louisville and Michael Watts (Michelle) of South Point; and his siblings, Janett Stevens (John) of Columbus, Diana Yoder (Mike) of Columbus, Dallas Watts (Ruth) of Barberton, Jesse Watts (Faye) of Ashland, George Watts (Lyneeda) of Nashville, Tenn and Delbert Watts (Delores) of Chesapeake. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; and 37 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Johnson Tiller Funeral Home (10030 WV-152, Wayne, WV 25570). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
