He is survived by: his wife Sallie Napier Smith; his daughters, Yvonne Fitzsimmons (Josh) of Charlotte, N. C. and Pam Stephens (Michael) of Lavalette; his grandchildren, Caleb Fitzsimmons (Miranda) of Wilmington, N. C., Gracie Stephens of Willowood, Chloe Stephens of Lavalette and Mason Stephens of Lavalette; his great grandchild Bentlee Redman of Wilmington; and his siblings, Calla Smith (W. Va) of Wayne, Herbert Smith of Va and Dores Smith of Lavalette. He is also survived by nieces, and nephews, and a host of friends.
