With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loretta S Steele of Lavalette, West Virginia, born in Wayne, West Virginia, who passed away on December 6, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford M. Smith and Sadie Hazlett Smith; her husband Gary A. Steele; her sisters, Lois Gene Booth (Donald) and Janet Rutherford (Hiram); and her parents-in-law, Shade and Recie Steele.
She is survived by: her children, Robin Dorfer (Jay) of Columbia, S. C. and Robert Steele (Penny) of Rock Hill, S. C.; her granddaughter Meredith Jones (Cody) of Columbia, S. C.; her brothers, Sherrell Smith (Barbara) of Huntington, W. V and David Smith (Bea) of South Point, Ohio; and her sisters-in-law, Lelia Smith of Las Vegas, Nev and Marie Daugherty of Front Royal. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Covid- 19 regulations, her services will be private for family only on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at Cyrus Cemetery with Rev. Ray Stonestreet officiating.
