He was predeceased by: his sister Marilyn Joan of Utah. He is survived by: his wife Emaline Perry Hagist of Lavalette, WV; his children, Jack (Sue), Todd (Pam) of Michigan, Matthew (Mary) of North Carolina, David of Costa Rica, Dudley (Beth) of South Carolina, Prudence Kabler of West Virginia, Patience (Rex) of South Carolina and Madelyn (Dave) of Indiana; his brothers, Robert of Iowa and Gene Hagist of Iowa; and his great grandchildren, Josh and Brian Carter. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
