She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Stables (Lee) and Shelvie Lester Stables; and her husband Danny Brim (Hector). She is survived by: her son Shannon Brim (Rebecca) of Greenville; her grandsons, Bradley Brim and Dylan Brim of Huntington; and her siblings, Roger Stables (Paula) of Sophia, David Stables (Ann) of Lashmeet, Jackie Stables (Debbie) of Princeton, Patty Hartwell (Timmy) of Princeton and Rita O'Dell of Princeton. She is also survived by caregivers.
In lieu of flowers, it was Kay's wish that unwrapped toys be brought to the funeral home and displayed. All toys will be donated to the Lashmeet-Matoaka area children's Christmas program.
