He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Coomes and Ana Walker Coomes; his former wife Lela Coomes; and his siblings, Tylene Daehnke and Kelvin Coomes.
He is survived by: his wife Freda Woody Coomes; his children, Jeff Coomes (Jenny), Melody Ponce, Lori Christian (David) and Jim Coomes (Shannon); his sister Betsy Breedlove (Jerry); his siblings-in-law, Lou Daehnke and Carol Coomes; and his friend Lester. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins.
