It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Lyle (Lashmeet, West Virginia), born in Beeson, West Virginia, who passed away on October 10, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Clay Lyle; his former wife Naomi Shrewsbury Lyle; and his siblings, Junior Lyle, Aubrey Lyle, Kirby Lyle, Dillard Lyle, Colleen Blevins and Beulah Grubb.
He is survived by: his parent Effie Blevins Lyle; his wife Joann Burton Lyle; his daughters, Carlotta Cole (Bruce) of Athens and Vivian Shrewsbury (Gerald) of Lashmeet; and his siblings, Maynard Lyle (Della) of Pinoak, Lavern Lyle (Ann) of Princeton, Opal Shrewsbury of Beeson and Genevia Blevins of Salem, VA.. He is also survived by four grandchildren; six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
