It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Hawks of Lashmeet, West Virginia, born in Beeson, West Virginia, who passed away on June 1, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lacy Mills and Blanche Baldwin Mills; and her brother David Mills. She is survived by: her husband Vaught W. "Buddy" Hawks; her children, Cyndy White of Princeton and Jerry Hawks (Tina) of Lashmeet; and her sister Judith Simmons (Ralph) of Princeton. She is also survived by two grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
