With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephen Cole Nelson of Lake, West Virginia, born in Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on August 24, 2022 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Shirley, Rex Wells, J. B., Ova Coleman, John and Elizabeth Nelson.

He is survived by : his parents, John Nelson and Sherri Coleman Nelson of Lake Floyd; his children, Corey Stephen Nelson, Cole Alexander (Kara) and Brandi "Nikki" Godfrey (Brandi Robinson); his grandchildren, Gracelynn, Elliot, Cyrus Nelson, Avery, Jordan Robinson and Brooklynn Freeman; and his brothers, Scott Nelson (Cindy) and Mike Nelson of Socastee, SC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
