She was predeceased by : her parents, Louis Pugalee and Margie Ruth "Boots" O'Dell Pugalee; her husband Ernest "Ernie" Howerton; and her siblings, Jackie Pugalee, Ricky Pugalee, Chuckie Pugalee, Jerry Pugalee and Connie Pugalee.
She is survived by : her children, Howerton (Katrina) of Matoaka, Marie "Tweets" Shrewsbury (Eric) of Lashmeet, Shelly and Lowery (Teddy) of Lashmeet; her siblings, Darlene Wilson of Tallahassee, FL, Pat Harmon and David Pugalee; her sister-in-law Cheral Pugalee of Lashmeet; her grandchildren, Randy, Jr., Allison, David, Kayla, Jr. and Hannah; her stepgrandchildren, Brooke and T. J.; and her close friend Carol Bailey of Athens. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
