With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jimmy Hartwell of Lake, West Virginia, born in Princeton, West Virginia, who passed away on June 15, 2021 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Woffard Hartwell and Virginia Nesbitt Hartwell; and his brothers, Charles, Michael and Russell.

He is survived by: his wife Gail Ford Hartwell; his children, Shawn Hartwell (Tina), Bridget Burton (Harold) and Susan Weese (Timmy); his grandchildren, Megan Thomas (Quincy), Taylor Weese (Jessica), Garrison Hartwell, Amber McPherson (Jacob), Heath Burton and Reece Burton; his great grandchildren, Braxlee Thomas, Skylar Weese, Mason Weese and Waylon McPherson; his brothers, Steve Hartwell (Carol), Richard Hartwell (Judy) and Timothy Hartwell (Patty); and his siblings-in-law, James Ford (Martha) and Nancy Hartwell.
