He was predeceased by : his parents, Jim Woody and Stella Craddock Woody; his siblings, Frank "Red" Woody, Samuel Woody, Roseann Woody Bailey and Manda Woody; his siblings-in-law, Rose Woody and Roger May; his uncle Ocie; his aunt Emma Craddock; and his children, Drema "Jo" Woody, Stephanie Woody Vance (Tony) and Jesse James Woody Jr..

He is survived by : his wife Dottie Ball Woody; his grandchildren, Cameron Woody, Easton Woody, Zoe Purkey and Zena Woody; his siblings, Betty Runyon, Helen May, Francis Oliver (Gary), Lova Farley (Hoss), Roy Woody (Diana), David Woody (Nickie), Greg Woody (Donna), Jim Jr. Woody (Doreen), Billy Woody (Belinda), Ed Woody (Mary), Ronnie Woody (Patricia), Lonnie Woody and Marty Woody (Crystal); and his brother-in-law George Bailey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and Brothers and Sisters.
