George Vance Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Vance of Kistler, West Virginia, born in Harts, West Virginia, who passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos Vance and Eliza Vance (Watts); the mother of his children Kathy Vance (Mullins); his sisters, Flora Dalton and Bessie Mullins; and his brothers-in-law, Orville Kinser, Brown Mullins and Eddie Workman.
He is survived by: his wife Nioka Vance (King); his sons, David (Tracie Vance), Carlos Vance, Jeff (April Vance) and Ryan (Brittney Crum); his grandchildren, Jeffery Lee Vance, Makayla Vance, Paislee Vance, Adelynn Crum, Willow Crum, Oaklynn Crum, Kerrigan Estep, Karlee Estep and Kayson Estep; his sisters, Evelyn Kinser of Peytona, Carry Vance of Peytona and Ruth Workman of Seth; and his siblings-in-law, Peter Dalton of Catlettsburg, KY, Rev. Bobby and Jennifer Adkins of Lorado. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives, church family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lundale Freewill Baptist Church (8968 Buffalo Creek Rd, Lorado, WV 25630).
