It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin Ray Gilco of Kistler, West Virginia, born in Man, West Virginia, who passed away on March 17, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Gilco and Addilee Gilco (Blankenship); his daughter Amy Michelle Gilco; his brothers, Terry Gilco and John Gilco; his niece Tamara Gilco; and his nephews, John Evans (David Aaron Gilco) and Alvin.
He is survived by: his daughter Brandi Nelson (Joe) of Accoville; his siblings, Benny Gilco (Ella) of Accoville, Tom Gilco (Gloria) of Accoville, Paul Gilco (Mary) of Oceana and Angie Hopson (Eugene) of Accoville; his grandchildren, Braxton Harper, Taylor Hatfield (Trey) of Landville, Nevah Robertson, Keyona Nelson and Caleb Gilco of Gillman Bottom; his great grandchild Grayson Gilco; his nieces and nephews, Tommy Lee Gilco of Kistler, Russell Evans of Accoville, Ricky Evans of Sutton, Chuck Gilco, Brandon Gilco (Madonna) of Oceana, Michelle Rayburn, Bethany Gilco of Beckley, Jeananne Gilco (Randy Hall) of Logan and Lisa Gilco (Chuck Cline Jr.) of Oceana; and his close friends, Terry Chapman of Crown, Donald Johnston (Debbie) of Kistler, Tammy Stephens of Man, Christopher Spears of Man and Sheldon Ellis of Davin. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
