He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Hunter and Betty Evelyn "Simpson" Sager; and his brother Marvin Eugene Sager. He is survived by: his children, Trista Dawn Sager Moreland (Chris Goldizen) and Shane Hunter Sager; his grandsons, Nicholas Aaron Hawkins Jr. and Dylan James Moreland; and his siblings, Peggy Sue Funk (Donald) and Danny Cleveland Sager (Diana Bragg). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
