He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Gaydos and Frank Janis; his brother Larry Janis of Nanty Glo, PA; and his nephew Craig Stevens of Tucson, AZ.. He is survived by: his wife Zoe; his children, Paula Janis of Kingwood, Rick Janis (Ranaee) of Chester, VA and Tonya Janis (Mark Knuckles) of Millersville, MD; his grandchildren, Ryan Janis of Chester, VA and Rachel Janis (Zack Hamm) of Killen, AL; his sister Neva Stevens (Bob) of Tucson, AZ; and his goddaughter Sherry Sopko (Jake) of Medina Ohio. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
