He was predeceased by: his parents, Eric B. Meissner and Doris Meissner (Good); his former wife Donna Vanerstrom Grenoble Meissner; his son Scott Alan Meissner; and his stepsons, Grant Scott Grenoble and Mark R. Grenoble.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley A. Hartley; his daughter Kristina L. Bird (Bryan) of Parker, CO; his brothers, Keith H. Meissner (Connie) of Hemet, CA and Richard L. Meissner (Lynn) of Clovis, CA; his stepchildren, John Curtis "Jack" Wilkinson (Kim), Jeff Hartley (Tracey), Tammy Wiles (Jeff) and Tracy Grenoble; his grandchildren, William Bird, Alexander Bird, Alexandra Grenoble and Elizabeth Grenoble; and the mother of his children Karen Hill of Texas.
