We bid farewell to Meshell Lee Watkins of Kingwood, West Virginia, born in Youngstown, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 12, 2024 at the age of 50. Meshell Lee touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Rosa, Haymond Uphold, Parley, Dorothy Taylor, Roselee and Lloyd Johnson; her brothers-in-law, Kenny Watkins, Gary Watkins and Junior Shaffer; and her aunt Rose Hagedorn.
She is survived by: her parents, David Feather and Phyllis Feather (Adams) of Kingwood, WV.; her husband Craig Watkins; her sons, Nathan Daniel Watkins (Rosa) and Aaron Watkins (Kaitlyn); her siblings, Robin McKinney, Crystal Bigler, Cynthia Barlow, Kevin Feather and Brian Feather; and her niece Diana Grace. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Field Funeral Home (10537 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Masontown, WV 26542). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Bethlehem Cemetery.
Meshell did charity projects and volunteered for FRN and Starting Points.
