He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Claude Snyder Jr. and Mary Joan Griffith Snyder; and his brother John Snyder. He is survived by: his wife Maryellen Snyder; his children, Alexandra Snyder, Julia Snyder and Nicholas Snyder (Kassidy Thompson); his grandson Cooper Snyder (Mel); his stepmother Ann Snyder; and his siblings, Gigi Norcross Willems (Bob Willems) and Geoff Norcross (Kristy Bryner).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Mel's memory to the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Catholic Churches: Preston County.
