He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Bernatowicz and Stella Bernatowicz (Gerasimovich); and his siblings, Marian Metea, Edward Bernatowicz, Francis Bernatowicz and Joseph Bernatowicz.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ann Bernatowicz (Forman); his sons, Brian Kyle Bernatowicz (Sarah) and Craig Garrett Bernatowicz (Madison); his grandsons, Jaxon Bernatowicz and Logan Bernatowicz; his siblings, Rose Ann Lenhart, Antoinette Bernatowicz, Theresa Spear, John Bernatowicz (Kay) and Patrick Bernatowicz (Loretta); and his siblings-in-law, Bill Forman (Sharon), Bob Forman (Linda), Pauline Bernatowicz, Rosemary Bernatowicz and Elaine Bernatowicz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 322 East Main Street, Kingwood, WV.
