He is survived by: his wife Janet Louise Carpenter Crandall; his daughter Robin Thomas (Terry); his grandchildren, Brandon Thomas, Melissa of Smithsburg, MD, Arielle Mabie and Logan; and his sisters, Susan Frederick of Cadillac, MI and Sharon Crandall of Mansfield, OH. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
