He was predeceased by: his parents, James Mitchell and Helen E. Barna Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Dottie Barna; and his stepchildren, Willard "Bubby" Savage Jr. (Christy Wilson) of Albright and Tammy (Frank Cosner) of Albright.
