She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Clinton Shrout and Iva Cleota Shrout (Uphold); her husband William Roy Benson; her daughter Wanda Gallatin (Benson); and her siblings, Alfred, Robert, Mildred Sisler, Beatrice Siegmyer and Loretta Harrison.
She is survived by: her children, William Roger "Bill" Benson (Suzanne) of Bruceton Mills and Lois Lightner (Robert K.) of Reedsville; her siblings, Franklin Shrout of Kingwood, William Shrout of Kingwood and Margaret Fink of Ohio; her grandchildren, Shelly Maxwell (Kevin), Kathy Barlow, Julie Lightner (Tim), Michael Gallatin and Elizabeth Feigel (Steven); and her great grandchildren, Amanda, Bradley, Trista (Josh), Tyler, Shelby (Cat) of Kaylee, T. J., Logan, Shalynn, Kinsley, Jack and Jaxson.
