She was predeceased by: her husband Woodrow Thomas; her siblings, Betty Barlow, Roy Gower and John D. Gower; and her granddaughter Brittany Thomas.
She is survived by: her sister Patty Nester; her sister-in-law Francis Gower; her children, Vaun (Jeff Thomas), Ronald (Brenda Thomas), Cindy (Donnie Cutlip) and Sandy (Trent Trickett); her grandchildren, David, Ronnie, Danyelle and Jessica; and her great grandchildren, Xavior, Brantley, Audrianna, Robert, Zelda, Easton and Abel.
