It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claude Richmond of Kimberly, West Virginia, who passed away on January 29, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Richmond and Zelma Richmond; his siblings, Darrell Richmond and Loretta Shoup; and his granddaughter Kerrigan Elizabeth Richmond.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth; his son Jeremy (Beverly) of Oak Hill, WV; his stepgrandchildren, Sydney Greer of Tennessee and Josh Greer of Beckley, WV; his sisters, Jane Moore, Joyce Zirk, Ulaine Thompson and Elginia Jackson; and his great grandchild Oliver (March). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the O'Dell Funeral Home (1301 Fayette Pike W, Montgomery, WV 25136). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Rosenbaun Family House at 30 Family House Drive, Morgantown, WV, 26506, and Hospice House of Southern WV at 454 Cranberry Drive, Beckley, WV, 25801.
