He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Elijah Heilig and Gracie Parker Heilig of Kimball, WV; his son Norman R. Heilig, Jr.; his siblings, Jones, Vernal, Joseph, Jasper Sidney, William Buster, Hershel, Beulah May, Lucille and Marie Heilig Holland; and his great grandchild Mireya L. Perkins.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Lennon of Evergreen; his daughter Valerie Henderson (J. Michael) of Dayton, OH; his grandchildren, Ryan Lindsey Perkins (Michael), Michelle E. Henderson of Florence, KY, Valencia N. Henderson of Dayton, OH and Norman R. Heilig, III; his great grandchild Alexander M. Perkins; his nieces, Saundra Holland and Natalie Davis; his cousins, Clarrise Page of Charlotte, NC and Narrell Carroll (Jimmy) of Princeton, WV; and his sister-in-law Pearl Heilig of Saginaw, MI. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, family and friends.
