He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane "Red" and Jennie Mae Trenum (Metz); and his siblings, Tommy, Sandra Bateson and Cora Lee Gordon.

He is survived by: his sons, Scott Trenum of Jacksonville, FL and Ronald Trenum (Brande) of Bogalusa, LA; and his brother Duane "Pete" Trenum of Moorefield, WV.
