He was predeceased by: his parents, John Walter Dixon and Eva Winnona Dixon Chaney (Willison); and his brothers, Robert and Max Dixon. He is survived by: his wife Anna Grace Dixon (Staggs); his children, David Dixon (Sheila) of Germantown, TN, Cathy Shoemaker (Rick) of Bergton, VA and Sandra Griffin (Donald) of Allen, Texas; his granddaughters, Amanda Dixon, Candice Mosby, Michelle Bower, Jenna Michael, Stephanie and Andrea Griffin; his great grandchildren, Jasmine, Brice and Timmy; and his close friend Jean Shipe.
