Sandra Kay Matthews Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sandra Kay Matthews of Keyser, West Virginia, who passed away on January 11, 2025 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sandra Kay Matthews to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul W. Sears and Edith Sears (Troutman); her husband Albert W. Matthews, Jr.; her daughter Kimberly K. Prysock; and her siblings, Donna Everett, Nelva Hixenbaugh and William "Bill" Sears.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda L. Martin (Greg) of Keyser, David G. Prysock (Karen) of Virginia Beach, VA and Duane Matthews (Leslie) of Hagerstown, MD; her grandchildren, Briana Stansberry, April Stansberry, Olivia Dawson, Nathalie Dawson, Brandon Prysock, Travis Martin, Mariah Martin, Michael Burris, Scott Matthews and Jesse Matthews; her sister Illa Lough of Lakeland, FL; and her sisters-in-law, Shirley Rose and Sherri Sears. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Markwood Funeral Home (111 S Mineral St, Keyser, WV 26726). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
