He was predeceased by: his parent Glenn I. Carr; and his brother Richard Carr. He is survived by: his parent Edna F. Carr (Burns); his wife Frances Louise Carr (Roy); his children, Ronald P. Carr, Jr., William M. Carr (Lisa) and Rhonda L. Swanson (Scott); his sisters, Shirley Landis, Sue Carr and Glenna Walters; his grandchildren, Destiney Huffman, Aaron Carr, Haley Dolly, Lexi Carr, Kirstie Carr and Brittany Swanson; his great grandchildren, Emilyn, Zachary, Zoey, Cameron and Abel; and his sister-in-law Wanda Carr. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
