He was predeceased by: his father Robert William Niland; his grandparents, Richard K., Rosa Lee Bartlett (Rotruck), Leo and Evelyn C. Niland Boettcher (Stewart); his daughter Miranda Niland; and his sisters, Kimberly Janet Niland and Sue Niland.
He is survived by: his mother Sharon L. Niland (Bartlett); his sister Cheryl Hika (Dan) of New Kensington, PA; his grandson Caiden Lee Carter Shaw; and his nieces and nephews, Ashley Hika, D. J. Hika and Michael Hika.
Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Robert K. Niland to Mineral County Humane Society, C/O Joy Fertig 831 Cut Off Road, Keyser, WV 26726, A private family service and committal will be held at the Potomac Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with the Pastor Sonny Dodds officiating.
