Rhonda Denise Twyman Obituary
Rhonda Denise Twyman, 55, of 542 Virginia Street, Keyser, WV, went to be with the Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 14, 2018, at the residence of her parents.
Born on April 23, 1962, in Keyser, she was a daughter of Wanda Lee Virginia (Redman) Twyman, of Keyser, and the late Ronald Isaac Twyman. In addition to her father, she also was preceded in death by an infant brother, Ronald A. Twyman; a sister, Llwendolyn R. Twyman; her paternal grandparents, Douglas and Sarah Twyman, and her maternal grandparents, Richard Beckwith and Cora Redman.
Around the time of her sister Llwen's death is where her 7-year fight with cancer began, repeatedly, she was undefeated, beating seemingly impossible odds. Rhonda was a 1981 Graduate of Keyser High School. She was a member of the First Church of God & Christ in Piedmont, WV. Rhonda was most recently employed as a caretaker for the mentally disabled. A cleaning fanatic, there was never a time where you could go into her home and find something out of place and adored listening to her Anita Baker music. She never had a problem with speaking her mind and making people laugh.
Surviving in addition to her mother, Wanda, are three sisters, Barbara D. "Missi" Smith and husband John, Gwendolyn A. "Sissy" Redman and Sheila A. "Ching" Twyman, all of Keyser; two special nephews, Robert "Tony" Washington and wife LaTia, of Keyser, and Cory Washington, of Wichita, KS; five special nieces, LaToya Garcia and husband Isaac, Shawna Redman, Tameka Redman and Tyiesha Twyman, all of Keyser, and Brea Washington, of Washington, DC.; 14 grandnieces and grandnephews, La'Anté, Marquise, Alexandria, Jason, Shawntrell, Cameron, Serenity, Donovan, Chanelle, Brielle, Danica, Issac, Aniyah and Tiavian, whom she loved dearly; an aunt, Anna Lee Hollingsworth; special friends, Charleton "Beany" Horton, Tommy Green, Marlon Allen, Tanis Leonard, Rainie Wells, Tara Pope and TJ Coleman; her furry companions, Pugzie, Co Co and Chi Chi, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Friday, March 16, 2018, from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Saturday, March 17, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. with Jeff Redman and Robert \"Tony\" Washington officiating.
Interment will be in the Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
