He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen L. Hartman and Phyllis B Hartman (Likens); his wife Betty Lou Hartman (Paugh); and his sister Janice Martin. He is survived by: his sister Charlene Blamer; and his stepchildren, John R. Hefner, Jr. (Cynthia) of Hampton, VA, Jeannette Renee Holland (Timothy) of Virginia Beach, VA, Jenise Rachelle Jackson of Keyser and Bonnie Jean Hefner of Mt. Storm.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Markwood Funeral Home (111 S Mineral St, Keyser, WV 26726). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at the Lahmansville Cemetery.
