He was predeceased by: his parents, Giovanni "John" Benedetto and Maria Antoinette Benedetto (Creatura); and his siblings, Elizabeth Richmond, Mary Steele, Albert, Paul and David Benedetto.

He is survived by: his son Patrick A. "Tony" Benedetto (Elizabeth "Liz") of Lakewood Ranch, FL; and his siblings, Charles Benedetto of Bellwood, Josephine Fortney of Altoona, PA and Jane Woods of Sinking Valley, PA.
