It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman S. Groves Sr. of Keyser, West Virginia, who passed away on February 17, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Grace Groves (Glotfelty); and his wife Mary Jane "Jani" Groves (Melody). He is survived by: his father Martin L. Groves, Sr.; his children, Dana Stewart (Gregory Donaldson), Norman "Scott" Groves, Jr. (Michelle) and Jennifer Ahern (Timothy) of Lewistown, PA; his grandchildren, Olivia Jane Ahern of Lewistown, PA and Thierry Washington of Acworth, GA.; and his sisters-in-law, Sharon Melody of Wadsworth, OH, JoAnn Miller of Webster Springs, WV, Judy Melody and Trina Melody. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
