She was predeceased by: her parent Lawrence Carter; and her brother Michael Carter. She is survived by: her parent Lillian Hall Carter; her former husband Richard F. Shannon of Hamburg, NJ; her children, Christine M. Parker (Stephen) of Harpers Ferry, WV and Brian M. Shannon of Wyckoff, NJ; her grandchildren, Nicholas, Zachary, Ryan, Christina, Michael and Joseph; her brother Lawrence Carter; and her sister-in-law Linda Carter. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
